v2.27.1.0 Cluster connections disconnect randomly

I have reported this in the Facebook forum with very little feedback. One other person acknowledged similar problems (but using different clusters). I normally use GB7MBC and VE2HEW-5. Never had any disconnects under 2.26. I have tried each cluster individually, same problem. I tried VE7CC, same problem.

1. Settings, Program Config, Cluster you can specify the port, but if you have multiple clusters selected in the Telnet connections does the Settings field matter? (I have tried matching it to one of the clusters, or leave it at default of 23. Neither seemed to make a difference with this issue, or ability to connect).

2. If I want to rollback to 2.26, is it as simple as creating a shortcut to the 2.26 exe file still in my folder?

Yes the port settings matter you must use the one relevent to the cluster provider

No and you would be ill advised to reinstall the older version

When you have issues set 'Trace made' in the help menu then when the problem next occurs check the log file from the help menu and you should see the error - Note it you restart Log4OM trace mode is forgotten and needs to be re-enabled

Thank you Terry. If the Settings Port matters.... I normally have two clusters selected: GB7MBC (8000) and VE2HEW-5 (7300). How do you handle multiple clusters with different ports since there is only one field in Settings? it use to be defaulted to 23, and using v2.26 I just selected the two clusters, made one primary and they worked without issue. Never had any disconnects.

I have tried one cluster at a time and using the Settings port accordingly and it still disconnects randomly.

I will turn the trace on but I would like to know how it is supposed to be configured when using 2 or more clusters.

I did not say send the log file anywhere just read it and look for errors related to cluster

23:09 was the last update from the cluster server

Here is the next cluster related activity. Looks like it reinitialized?? I noticed the last update was old at @23:32, sent a Show Announce/Show Configuration and it disconnected completely.

No disconnect information in the part of the log file you published and no error so we cannot see the problem

Why is it reinitializing all those files, etc.? Is that where I loaded the Telnet Cluster Management window to send a command to see if it was asleep or not? Sometimes when I look it is completely disconnected, other times it is like it went to sleep. I will notice the last update time is quite old and will open the management window and send a command. Most times it will cause a disconnect.

I switched to GB7MBC for today and in trace mode. I will monitor.

Keep Alive was checked but the rest of the fields were blank so I edited the form and and saved it and reconnected on the U GB7MBC: 8000 and reconnected. Will monitor.
