Hi all,
Since the release of Log4OM 1.17, with the new award feature included, a lot of user awards have been provided. Also some of the awards that already were included during installation have been updated. To make it easier to update for all of you, we regularly will provide a package containing all new/updated awards.
Simply copy all .xml files in the attached file into the <user>/AppData/Roaming/LogOM/awards folder and restart Log4OM. If you only want to track some specific awards, just copy the award definitions of the awards you need.
Please let us know what awards you would like to see supported in the future. Not all types of awards are possible at the moment, but usually all awards where you have to work certain reference numbers or countries already can be done.

Re: Awards Update Package
I've created simple example of Log4OM Award Updater application.
You may download it from https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/122 ... pdater.zip
There are two parts of application: server and client
SERVER
Server is simple PHP script that provides info about current Award Definition
files to a client to allow it update local award files.
Installation:
- make web space accessible from Internet
- put this index.php in root ot web space
- create subfolder files in root of web space
- put .xml files of award definitions in folder files
CLIENT
Client is .NET 3.5 application that connects to the server and allows updating
Log4OM Award definition files from server.
Installation:
- unpack Log4OmAwardUpdater.exe from ZIP to directory of your choice
- run Log4OmAwardUpdater.exe and set UpdateServer URL to point to web space
where Server part is installed
- set Local Storage to folder where Award Definition files should be stored.
Check Log4OM manual to find out where files should be placed.
- click Refresh to load list of Award definition files
- click Update to update new files from server
This is actually proof of concept example.
I've set up server part at http://pedja.supurovic.net/log4omawards/ so all you have to do is extract exe, run it and download. I would appreciate if you do not use this server for updating as this is just made for an example.
Source is available to be included in Log4OM if there is interest.

Re: Awards Update Package
Hi Pedja, thanks.
Release 1.18, soon in beta stage, will include an automatic download mechanism for new awards.
Claus is already mantaining up-to-date the web space that stores awards.
Nice work indeed
