Double clicking on cluster spot puts IC7300 in CW-R mode

Post by ve3nr »

When double clicking on a cluster spot, spotted stn working CW, the IC 7300 is set to CW-R! Why is the radio set in the reverse CW mode?
Thanks!

Bert,

Check the options available to select at Configuration / CAT. As I recall one of them addresses that, but I can't be sure. I don't have an IC rig to test with.

Is your software/firmware for the IC 7300 current?

Hi Nolan,
Thanks for your reply. I'm using current firmware for the IC7300. Checking off the option "Reverse side SSB (CW)" fixes the problem, but it seems backwards. It should NOT reverse CW if I don't check off that option!!?? Now it's the other way around. Maybe I missed something?
Thanks again.
