LOTW Update

Post by PA7RA »

Good day,
A strange question, but I am going to switch from HRD to LOG4OM.
Now I have 125682 qso in HRD so I create an exopt adif file with all these qso's in it.
When I import them into LOG4OM I of course have 125682 in it, which is good.
But if I do a full LOTW update in LOG4OM, I will have more qso in it than the 125682.
Is it correct that I think QSOs are loaded from LOTW?
And how can I filter those qso's that have been added by LOTW so that I can take a look at them.
I hope my question is clear, I do this via Google translate
thanks greetings Rien, PA7RA

I have the same/similar problem...
Did you ever operate on any Data modes around 2013.?

I have hundreds of duplicate QSO's around 2013..??
If I remember correctly..??
Both HRD & LoTW made changes to how PSK /Data modes where coded (Mode/SubMode..?)
The changes where made,
There was a problem, LoTW rolled back the change after a few days, then applied another fix/version.??
somehow during that period I did an upload, then a later download, and a range of QSO's got duplicated...
Identical QSO's with 1 being Data, One being PSK31.

ARRL/LoTW would not delete duplicates,
I have never figured out how to stop them downloading

I have an ADIF of the correct original 806 vs the 1287 currently on LoTW
