Restore from Win10 to Win11

Post by N6RSH »

Hi,

I had to get a new computer as my old one was having hard drive issues. That computer is Win10 (still runs). This one, the new one, is Win11.

I have gotten Log4OM V2 to load, I've got all of my contacts and the computer talks to my 7300. I would like to restore Log4OM but following the manual, I can't find "C:\Users\USERS NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user folder." (page 261). There is NO 'AppData' folder in my file explorer.
I uploaded a picture of my directory. Does Win11 have a different file structure?
I have a preformatted Net I would like to have back as well as all of my udp settings. The old computer is on the other side of the room and I really don't want to be running back and forth resetting Log4OM

Thanks,
Steve N6RSH

You need to unhide hidden files and folders in Windows

Thanks,
I did that and uploaded a backup. But my udp settings won't load nor does the net I set up.

THANK YOU!!!
I wasn't paying attention to the folder label that closely.
Saves me a lot of work (not that it's too hard to use the Net Control utility)
Now if I can get Log4om to connect while wsjtx (or other programs like VARA, etc) are connected.
I'll figure it out...
