LOG4OM not picking up correct grid from Fldigi
LOG4OM not picking up correct grid from Fldigi
I use Fldigi V 4.2.06 and LOG4OM V 2.36.1.0 with Windows 11. I am a grid chaser so I have to manually enter the grid into Fldigi before saving to the log. Fldigi shows the manually entered grid in the logbook, however LOG4OM shows the stations home grid as shown on QRZ.com, not the grid recorded in Fldigi. Is this a bug in LOG4OM or am I doing something wrong?

How is the QSO arriving in Log4OM, by monitoring the ADIF file or what?

Yes, LOG4OM is monitoring the Fldigi ADIF file. Attached is the configuration for the ADIF function.

Read the text of the item you checked it says it will update from external data, like qrz,!

Looks like the problem is that the "Update inbound data using external source". Problem is that after I uncheck the box and save, when I return to the configuration page, the box is still checked. Cannot get the box to stay unchecked. is there a particular file under Program Files (x86)/IW3HMH/Log4OM NextGen/ that I can delete to get rid of the saved configuration? I really don't want to delete everything and start over.

Did you uncheck BOTH boxes and then click Save and Apply
I just tested and it works fine but you MUST uncheck both boxes
You could also delete that line of instructions
Should look like this, note the ADIF file path
