Looks like the
automatically adds a % at the end, so
does not work.
A normal LIKE would solve this (without adding anything), so the user can use whatever he wants ('XX%' (beginning), '%XX%' (middle), or '%XX' (end).
With Christmas coming closer, I also would love to have the REGEXP operator, which would make it easier to parse my comment and note fields
