I would like to be able to signify, either via a strike-through line or highlight colour, that a contact in my log is invalid; i.e. not completed correctly (I am quite strict with myself). Currently I delete the entry but would rather not.

Re: Invalid contacts
I agree, sort of. But If I have had 3/4 of a contact with somebody, I would still like the details in the log, but with an invalid/not for QSL mark. Could be handy if we hook up again.G4POP wrote:IMHO if a QSO is invalid it should not be in my log!
I almost feel guilty not logging CQ calls like we used to have to

Re: Invalid contacts
There is a "QSO COMPLETE" field in ADIF. We should use that...

You can of course set the QSL status to invalid

I think I will do that from now on, but would prefer a visual cue wherever contacts are displayed (background colour of row or strike-through).G4POP wrote:You can of course set the QSL status to invalid

Re: Invalid contacts
Hi
The option is interesting, and I would like to share with you, my experience.
The log I used some years ago was SwissLog. SwissLog has this option, and I found it very useful, when a given station sometimes copy our call incorrectly. Till we know if they got your call correctly, it is useful to mark the contact as not complete, later, after we explain by email or any other way, we can delete or make the "QSO Complete". The big concern is when the other station do not copy us correctly. Till we try it is useful to maintain in log.
What do you think looking from this perspective?
Version 1.20 is fine, thanks for this new one.

Hi Manual,
I do a lot of JT65. Sometimes the minimum requirements for a QSO are not made, so rather than leaving it and forgetting to mark it invalid or delete it, it would be nice to have some visual sign as sometimes the QSO can be completed a few minutes later. No doubt this reasoning could apply to other modes too.
