Log4OM strange behaviour - need urgent fix as unusable

I updated a QSL record and Log4OM started behaving strangely. If I try to sort a column, the whole list of QSOs (in QSL management) scrolls on its own from top to bottom. In search, anything I select does not stick…it changes to ‘Ignore or Invalid’ – it then, if I wait long enough (a few seconds) scrolls though all the options. All this behaviour has survived a reboot.

How can this be fixed?

Sounds like a computer malfunction, have you tried shutting down all programs and re starting the computer?

Yes I had. But would you believe it, without a reboot and whilst I have just been having dinner, all is well again.
