Hi Terry

With Rob's help I have sorted the ADIF issue (strange glitch) and now successfully loaded my SOTA records into Log4OM. Currently the SOTA Ref is in the Comment field as you suggested and is displaying OK in Log4OM. So do I now need to run the Merge to move the SOTA Ref to the correct field? I think that is what you are saying.

It is a pity that the SOTA MT didn't cooperate with you, I noticed your previous communication on the SOTA Reflector :o . Log4OM looks really great but I have only scratched the surface so far with all the plethora of features it has :-)

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Hi,
Yes now download your SOTA DB CSV file and merge it with your QSO's this should fill the SOTA ref fields in Log4om with the references.

Please let us know how you get on

Hi Terry,

I tried the Merge CSV but it is not successful. It doesn't seem to be able to match the CSV file rows with Log4OM DB rows. I get "... QSO Not found" but my SOTA Chaser Log has been successfully loaded and I see all the SOTA Refs in the Comment field displayed OK.

To finish this thread off the converter that Andrew used was causing issues so Lele added an import facility to SOTA support.

Andrew sent me his SOTA chaser and activator files which he downloaded from the SOTM DB and using the new import feature I built him a new SQLite database which he now has.

Please note the import and merge facility is designed to work with the SOTA DB CSV files it will not work with files generated by any other software or on line database
