I can confirm this issue .... No highlighted comments in the cluster window when a IOTA/SOTA e.g. is spotted. Have seen this problem yesterday when i worked a SOTA station and send a spot with the SOTA reference

This is caused by a change we made when adding the regular expressions to the Alert you can fix this by deleting the file highlighted in the image below and restarting Log4OM

File is located at C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\LogOM

Thanks muchly ...that fixed that problem.

I think I have spotted another difference/problem. I think I noticed that now when I manually type in a station operating a WWFF - VKFF park that the option for VKFF doesn't show and nor does the KRNPA award but the SANCPA does. So to manually add an award for VKFF I now select WWFF and then scroll through all the WWFF until I come to the VKFF number I want which of course still works but differently to before. Double clicking an entry from the cluster automatically places the details exactly as they should be so its no biggy ...just (I think) different to before ..and no Keith Roget Memorial Parks Award.

Just to also confirm that the Rig Cluster XML file reappeared this morning. So I shut down, deleted the file and re-started and it was fine again.

OK ..so if I put in VK5PAS or VK3HRA or any VK ...in fact just typing VK5 or VK3 will work. Then I click the Awards and normally VKFF would be visible along with Keith Roget but now just WWFF, so click that and scroll through all the countries until I reach VKFF. Sometime I do it this way and sometimes I use the search if they have given me the number ......but if my CAT is working I just double click the station in the cluster and everything is filled out.

You did resave the filters the first time you deleted the file, didn't you?

As for 'Keith Roget' I don't ever recall an award of that name? are you sure that you are not getting confused with South Australia National and conservation Parks award (SANPCPA)

We never have selected the award for you because there are for instance six awards in the Log4om list which are applicable to VK - We don't know which one you want to use?

But if my CAT is working I just double click the station in the cluster and everything is filled out.

Because we are receiving the actual reference in the note/comments field of the cluster, not doing a lookup!

Please update the awards manually to fix this issue

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the great support ...yes the update fixed the problem.

The award would be known as KRMNPA (Keith Roget Memorial National Park Award - Victorian version of the South Australian award but somewhat older) and I was sure it also came up under the awards along with the SANPCPA award but maybe I was mistaken now....Anyway its not an issue as the parks now come up as they should.

And ..no...I forgot to do the save but when I turned on this morning, all is well and the awards are all there where they should be.

And ...just another question ...this time on the memory utility ...I find this feature very handy - I have put all 10m, 6m and 2m beacons in plus some general spot frequencies I regularly use. My question is - is there a way of setting the mode ..ie SSB or CW?

When you add a memory it will set whatever frequency and mode the radio is set to, assuming you have CAT control operating
