A LOTW match (Validation) happens on the date of the match, not the date of the QSO.

So, if you have a 10 year old QSO and the other station uploads his log to LOTW, you will have "matches" for your QSOs as of the date of the "match".

Just use the date of your very first QSO in your log starting out. This will get ALL the LOTW matches through today's date and set the Validated status for your log..
