Use the commands step by step (with a return) to change date, time, band and others on the right panel.
After all things are changed you putting in the call and hit return again. A full line of commands does
not work.

Can I erase the data in the black screen ? I just cannot change the band and mode when I add a QSO.
When entering the data, is a space required for example after H : should it be entered H080000 (as shown by Terry) or H 080000 as shown in the manual ?
Should Enter be pressed after each field ? Or all data of the QSO entered in one line, and then Enter ?

I started just opening the LazyLog screen, typed what you can see on the left, and the enqueued QSO is incorrect with time, mode.
What am I doing wrong ?
Terry, any chance you make a video ?
As your struggling so much with this as it's only an occassional QSO why not enter it in the main window by locking date, time, band and mode?

This is an option I could use, but then, if I do it this way, I have to provisionally cancel the ClubLog update so it does not upload the QSO with wrong data. I must log it with wrong date/time/band/etc, then correct it, then re-insrtate the upload.
I know how to do that, but it would be a lot simplet on the LazyLogif I knoew how to do it...
Am I the only one with difficulties on this ?

Yes you are the only person having a problem with this, many SOTA and other portable stations plus users inputting a paper logbook use it.
I will do a video when I have time but there is no reason you need to input incorrect data in the main window if you use the padlocks and have your radio turned off or disconnected.
BTW you hold the record for the user with the most posts in his initial three week period

Glad to be a Gold medalist !
Discovering such a program is a big task, and things that are obvious to the developpers are not necessarily obvious for the users...
For example when inputting the date, should there be a space between the D and the date (format yyyymmdd), or does it make no difference ?
My problem is probably (among other reasons) that I have the rig open and connected to Log4OM at the time I want to input a QSO.
I appreciate your help and patience with me !

The fastest way to learn is to try things, just disable all auto uploads and experiment with Lazylog then delete any QSO's added during the trials.
Dont forget the QSO's are not saved to your log until you click the floppy disk save icon

Yes either turn the radio off and enter freq, band and mode manually
Or
With the radio turned on and connected tune the radio to the freq, band and mode
Your choice!
