A Flex 6500

I have no experience of that radio I was hoping you would have an Icom or similar with both a remote connection and a USB so that you could connect a PC to each connection.

So I am not sure what you can do about connecting two computers to the flex, perhaps someone with the same radio can assist you?

Regarding separate databases that is not an issue just create a new database for the new PC and import the old QSO's into that database from the ADIF file.
