I emailed Steve yesterday and asked if he would try the portable version and to let us know the result.

must be a problem with my main shack computer, portable version running on usb pen drive has the same problem, but using same usb pen drive on another computer there is no problem

i will search online for a suitable solution, as it's not something related to my software but to the used library

Or related to the used OS ....

The problem seemed to be caused by my computer not recognising .dll files, I have reformatted my computer again & reinstalled XP Pro with all updates, now I have Log4om reinstalled & sq lite is working now, thankyou for such a good logging program

Well I am please that you have resolved it but what a pain in the preverbal? I have never heard of that before, we live and learn!

as you say a right pain in the proverbial, but I like the program so much it was worth it
