Hi Bob, it work´s but slow is a problem of RAM, processor speed, processor cores, drives and a lot more.
If it works without your antivirus software you may see that the problem ist the AV software. Since i use
Windows i only use the "onboard" things like "Security Essentials" (up to W7) and now on W10 the new one
from MS. Not have had any problems with viruses nor have had a problem to get L4O to run. Not with
the installed one nor with the /P.

I think its likely to be a slow thumb drive and USB port.
It runs fine on the hard disk.

Its a really good program and I probably only utilise half its capabilities!
