What is the exact error message and what happens next when you click OK?

The previous error was a strange character in the user settings path, where user saved his file.
If you don't have changed anything from previous version, and you have simply uninstalled 1.16 i suppose it's something related to a bad installation (dunno why, but happens).
Can you UNINSTALL log4om again, then reinstall from newly downloaded file?
