I can tell that LOG4OM v2.34.0 with my MariaDB performance is noticeably faster as compared to previous LOG4OM installations which used the MySQL driver. It is still a struggle but it has gotten better now. My log has about 150K QSOs.
I am still running the MariaDB 10.6.18 on Ubuntu Linux which appeared to be the latest release I could make LOG4OM work on following some recent LOG4OM updates.

As the starter of this threat I want to thank Daniele, IW3HMH for his efforts to support MariaDB.

Today I have switched back from mysql-Docker to mariadb native. It was no problem to copy the log4om2 database between the two systems using mysqldump.
