An extra "double-click" on the spot will set the correct mode - IE: USB, LSB, CW etc..

If moving from SSB to CW in same band it follows/changes straight-a-way. If changing bands (IE: 20M to 40M and changing modes) most likely a 2nd "double-click" on the spot will complete the mode change.

Anyway ... that is how my K3 is working with Omni-Rig and I also have my Poll interval set at 100ms as well.

I did see that a second double click set it up right as I changed the poll rate and no change. So will go with that since that's all that seems to be able to be done. Thanks for all the help.

If you search the forum you will find files that I have posed for this in the past
Terry,

This is an old topic, but I've searched 'till I'm almost blue in the face and cannot find the posts you have indicated with the suggested changes for the INI files (Elecract K3) and Omnirig.

I am sure I am going right past it, but I just can't get the proper search terms to get to that post you reference.

A simple search on the word Elecraft found four pages with 40 posts, probably the most relevant is this one.........

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1504&p=8815&hilit=elecraft#p8815

Where Marcus explains as follows
My experiments have shown that CW_U (MD3;) and CW_L (MD7;) are not only swapped in the "set mode" section, but also in the "read status" section (Flag9 and Flag13). After these corrections, CW and CW REV modes are correctly set and also identified by OmniRig.

Update after an email exchange with Alex VE3NEA:
Quote "With the K3, CW is LSB and CW-REV is USB."
