Hi Terry, I modified the IC7800v3.ini and named it IC7800v4.ini. Also tried to just save as IC7800v3.ini but it dosent show up in the pull down menu. It's in the Rigs folder with the other ini files but something is different that Omnirig won't recognize it. The original v3 works fine, just trying to get it to change the rig to RTTY. I edited the file and replaced DIGI_U and DIGI_L with RTTY and RTTY-R.

All that you normally have to do is open the file, edit it and then click file/save (not save as) in notepad
Did you check my other recommendations?

Terry, I have the latest fills, downloaded yesterday. The rig is running 3.10. The IC7800v3.ini works with the rig just fine. Just trying this simple mod but somthing in the file changes so that Omnirig dosent like it, won't show up in the pull down rig selection. Strange.
Thanks for the suggestions, I will just play with it a bit more. If I come up with anything I will post.

I ran into the same issue. What I determined is that when you open an application which uses OmniRig, OmniRig seems to parse the ini rig files for structure errors before allowing them to be listed in the rig pull-down list. So if you have modified the ini file and it does not appear, then you have made some error in the file, something not allowed by OmniRig. Suggest you check your modifications. I hope this helps.

I found that what I was trying to do was not acceptable to Omnirig. I was trying to replace mode DIGI_L with RTTY. I tried the Definitions Verifier on Omnirig page and it said that RTTY was not a recognized mode by Omnirig. Not a big deal just trying to learn somethings and I did. IC7800v3 is nice, it activates VFOB.
Thanks for the responses.
