Omni rig problem.

About once an hour I get an error message "Band and Freq. do not match". This is correct, they do not. I then open the Omni-Rig settings and change the DTR from High to low and that fixes the problem, A little down the log, I get the same error message. I then change the DTR back from Low to High and again everything works - for a while. Any suggestions for a permanent solution.

I got similar problems when I had usb interface instability.
Using a real com and a virtual com port software like LP-Bridge solved the problem for me.

Art,
This sounds like a problem with the interface cable or com port

Check the com port power saving settings and if enabled turn the power saving off

Alternatively try another interface cable

Also when posting please state what rig and interface cable you are using, this some times helps us identify the issue faster

Rig is a TS480SAT. My computer running W7 has only one com port so I use LPB2 to generate 3 more. I have changed my virtual port from 5 to 9. Let us see what happens..
