I thought I had read this info before, but my searching of the forums and the help file were negative.

Is it possible to copy the screen layout, such as window positions / column layout including widths, headings etc from my computer to a friends computer without this changing his database and other info ??? If yes, please tell me which files I have to transfer.

thanks in advance

John

Cancel the request. I found a post that refered to "user" files so, I did it. I copied all of the .xml files that contained, in their name, the words " _user " , plus one " modelist_user.csv " from the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\John\Application Data\LogOM" over to the similarly named location on the other computer and all seems to be a-ok

screen position is saved in config.xml file
check if all paths are OK if you move this file to another PC :)
