Win7 User Account Control / Log4OM

I have Win4K3 working with Log4OM using a VSP emualtor called ComOCom, (recommended by Win4K3 author), all works fine.

My question is really a Win 7 issue I think.
I'd like to get Win4K3 to Autostart Log4OM, but this is prevented by Windows 'User Account Control' which appears when starting Log4OM asking 'Do you want to allow this program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?' YES/ NO.

Is there a way to bypass this User account Control just for Log4OM?

Thanks, 73

Yes go to windows user account control (UAC) and reduce the security setting

Yes that does it but needs to be at minimum setting so applies to ALL changes to PC. I guess I'll risk it.

The only real alternative is on my side, purchasing a SSL certificate that will cost 3-400 Euros/year to digitally sign the software.
It's a waste of money imho...

Another alternative is to create a certificate @home, and ask you to add it to your trusted certs... i should check if this way could work

I have to say that UAC is the biggest pain in the derrière. I disable it immediately on every windows install*. If somebody really needs it they really should not be using a computer. Never had a problem and I do visit some very iffy sites. I also fix it so I can install all programs in their proper place - the program files folders; but that is a story for another time.

* I manage 6 PCs chez-moi and all multi-boot, that is over 10 windows installs that have UAC disabled. No probs and my children and computer-illiterate (not an insult, just a fact) wife have no issues.
