Slow QSY

When clicking a spot on the Cluster(F9) screen it typically takes a number of seconds for the radio (ftDX5000) to react. I am linked to the radio via OMNIRIG at 38400bps

This is not true in other programs, such as WriteLog.

Hans,
When you say this is not true of other programs 'Writelog' are they....

1. Connected to the same radio?
2. Using the same interface cable?
3. On the same computer?
4. Using the same settings for com port and baud rate etc?

The only thing different in the hardware/software lineup is the application.

Ok in that case please go to settings and enable Debug mode

Then click on some spots and watch the QSY

EMAIL me the log file "help/show log" DO NOT POST IT ON THIS FORUM BECAUSE IT CONTAINS SENSITIVE MATERIAL

I also have intermittent slow QSY - could be anything up to 5 secs before all responds = -Flex300 with Psdr and DDUtil controlling VCP's for Log4OM, amplifier, stepp-ir controller and rotator

Hi Charlie, can you please enable debug log (settings-1 folder) and make some tests with this feature enabled?
I then need your log back

Just another observation.

When QSY'ing from one mode to a spot in another mode, I have noticed sometimes the radio mode will change, then some time later (several seconds sometimes) the frequency will change.
