Possible to update countries file without importing new ADIF

I would like to be able to update the countries file without having to import an ADIF file each time. Is this possible?

Please explain in more detail what you are doing and what requires update

The Log4om countries file is maintained and updated by K7PT and it can be set to automatically download (Update) in the program

... but qso saved will not be changed without explicit activity, like re import or update countries in qso management massive update.
