Merging LoTW files with Log4OM?

Since retiring and returning to the hobby, I have been using Log4OM for a little over a year and have found it to be very helpful in keeping track of QSOs now that the total number has grown to in excess of 1,000. My main interest has been working towards DXCC and when LoTW shows a new verified QSL for DXCC, I manually change the QSL status of the QSO in Log4OM to “LoTW verified”. This has worked very well and helps me to keep track of progress for the DXCC program.

Now that I have progressed in DXCC I am starting to look at other milestones and have realised that on LoTW I have many verified QSOs that although no longer required for DXCC are now relevant for other awards (WAS for example), so I thought I had best include all verified QSOs in Log4OM. However, there are many of them and to do it manually would take a long time.

Simple I thought; just get LoTW to provide an ADIF file of the verified QSOs and import it to Log4OM. This I tried and it seemed to go smoothly (i.e. no complaints from Log4OM) however the LoTW QSL status of these QSOs does not appear to have changed in Log4OM.

A bit of a rambling description I’m afraid, but my basic question is:
How do I tell Log4OM that a whole bunch of QSOs has been verified by LoTW without me having to edit each one manually?

Many thanks

Chris,
There is a dedicated system for this in Log4om it's in the QSL manager but it relies of your set up being correct as below

1. You must have the LOTW TQSL software installed on the computer and a valid LOTW certificate
2. The LOTW information must be completed correctly in the Log4om options/external logs tab

Once the above is done it is then a simple job to download from LOTW using the QSL manager and all verified QSO's will be updated automatically

There is a YouTube video about this here http://youtu.be/yLT3UuMlocc
