WSJT logging

Hi,

I want to log qso's done in WSJT directly in Log4OM; the procedure explained in the manual (page 164-) goes through JT alert, which is essentially OK for me.
The problem is that JT alert needs a specific reference to a SQLite file used by Log4OM; I don't use SQLite, my Log4Om DB is on an external MySQL server.

Am I stuck or is there a way around this ? Logically if the QSO is sent over in UDP to Log4OM, why do we need a SQLite reference ?

It's just the way JTAlert was written, I don't know if it can write direct to a MySQL file you would need to ask the author of JTAlert

Ok Terry,

I just thought that the Log4OM UDP connection was meant to "pass" a QSO, with no need to access any file; I'll contact the JT Alert author to clarify.

Actually: the QSO gets logged into Log4OM
but an alarm window is shown, according to which it couldn't be logged.
I'll just disregard that window

Marco,

I get that a lot and also do not worry about it, especially as I have the recent QSO tab (F8) showing all the time and can see the QSO having been correctly written.
