Log4OM

Hi All,

I have a little issue and I'm pretty sure I'm missing something.
I'm running Log4OM with no connection to the radio and each time I save a contact it loses the frequency.
Any chance to fix the frequency to for example 21.265 ?
Each time I save a QSO it is back to 00,000

Try the Lock icon next to the band. I don't know if this will also lock the frequency.

Unfortunately I already tried and it does not work

You are correct the lock works fine for mode and band but not for frequency.

This is something we should add so I will put it on our mantis list

I'm currently activating a friend's station and I'm getting crazy to fill the frequency for each contact while I'm staying on same frequency for hours

Yes I understand that would be an issue.

Why do you not connect the rig, does it not have CAT control?

Now FREQUENCY will be cleared only if:

No CAT connected
and
Band combo box is NOT LOCKED

So if you don't have CAT simply enable BAND locking to prevent frequency reset.

I just activated for 5/6 hours the station of HS1CHB in Thailand during my vacation this week and basically I had only my computer with me, he had a FT 1000 MP Mark IV and had not much time to look into the CAT.

That is the reason

Lucky bugger, wish I was back in Thailand

I'll be back there as from August and will stay there for a couple of years.
I already have my call but still waiting for the official license for the moment.
