how do i save all the settings and config on my log40m
to a memony stick in case computer crash ?

Use the backup facility provided in the options, the backup files that are saved are an ADIF file of your log plus a configuration zip file

Better still use Dropbox to store your sqlite database files and first backup, use the second backup to a memory stick

Dropbox is detailed in the user guide as is the backup facility

The configuration files were not backed up in earlier versions so make sure you are using V 1.19
