Log4OM

I just purchased a new IC 7100 and am trying to figure out how to interface it with Log4OM.

Can anyone help me with this?

Either use the supplied USB cable to connect the radio to the computer after you have installed the Icom usb drivers or use a CiV interface to connect to the CiV remote socket on the radio.

I recommend that you use Omnirig in Log4om for rig control, it's more reliable than Hamlib

Both procedures are fully detailed in the Icom user manuals

Thanks. I should have been more specific. I have been using Log4OM for several months with Omni Rig and a Yaesu FT 857D.

When I hook up the new IC 7100 using the supplied USB cable, I don't see the 7100 as a rig choice. So, how do I get around that?
