Hi,
Last night tried to pair my flex-3000 and log4om. Used omnirig as cat connection, but getting very slow reponse if I clicking on dx cluster callsign...then takes about 3-4s to switch to frequency. Tried configure hamlib as cat link but no succes.
Is anybody here can share how to configure hamlib and flex-3000?
Regards, Kes

Don't waste your time with Hamlib
Omnirig is available as an interface for Flex and if it's slow there is something set up wrong or perhaps a problem with your interface cable
I am sure there are other Flex users here that can advise you on set up

I don“t have had a 3k or 5k Flex (those are connected via Firewire) but i have had a Flex-1500 when i started with Log4OM (connected via USB) and it works well with Omnirig. Did you have installed a virtual serial port for connecting L4O to Omnirig ??? I think so but if you have installed a pair for CAT the parameters must be identical to the settings in the Flex menu (Baud etc.) ... Long time ago that i work with a Flex but i think there are some other Users here which works with a Flexradio ....

The situation is following...
The omnirig is set same baud rate etc as sdr software. I've tried other logging software like mixw (omnirig) and n1mm and didn't get this delay like on log4om. Used log4om with my trusty ts-590s and didn't had any issue

Will try different baud rate etc....
Thank yuo, Kes.

Nice that it works now and thanks for the description. Think that will help other Flex users or users with a delay problem

If i start L4O it starts with a small size somewhere on the desktop. I have to move it with the mouse to the left upper corner and make it bigger (i dont use L4O in fullscreen mode so i have some apps running that i like to see) .... Think in V1.xx it will be not possible that L4O starts always at a "saved" position with another size. Hope that V2 will be give us a feature like this ....
