weird occurrence

This is weird. It may never happen again but as it did, I thought I'd post it. This morning when I fired up my 'puta and started Log4om a small box popped up saying that updates were available......... when I went to check I discovered that I was not actually connected to the internet due to my wireless modem not working.
After some messing around I finally got the modem going again and re-connected. I then did an update check and log4om said I had the latest version.
Strange that it told me that updates were available when there was no internet.!!!
