I've been looking through manual for information on finding, and possibly mapping, grid squares worked on 6m and can't find any, is there such a function?

Not at this time but we will reinstate the grid square statistics and maps in the near future

That'll be greatly appreciated Terry as it'll increase my new found enjoyment of 6m no end.
