I can see how to change the default reports for JT modes, general DIGI modes etc etc (in Settings/Expert mode) but cannot see how to change the default report for the mode FSK441 only, and not all other digi modes . The default I want to set it to is 26. Assistance please.

Open the report file list in settings folder and place the asterisk on the row you need to be set as default.
Check for the file in setting folder, from help menu to have a direct access. Should be something like report-it.txt or similar...
If you rename adding _user before the .txt it should be used kept also between upgrades (but now I can't confirm if of report file make use of user files... If doesn't work please update the main file and let me know)

I made 2 lists ReportListFSK.txt and ReportListFSK_user.txt these did not work.

I renamed the lists ReportListFSK441.txt and ReportListFSK441_user.txt and these did not work.

I also tried names with fsk and fsk441 in lower case. These also did not work so I must be doing something wrong.

My lists look like this :

// a row that contains * is considered the DEFAULT VALUE
// * will be removed on load

John,
I think you both misunderstood each other. :D

I believe that you want to just change the default report for one single digital mode - Not for all Digital modes?

You would like FSK441 to perhaps have a default report of 56DB and PSK31 have a default report of 599 etc or perhaps I am the one that misunderstands? This is not possible as far as I am aware.

It would require Lele to change the code to, as an example, look for a specific file named "reportlistFSK441.tx" or "reportlistFSK441_user.tx" at the moment Log4om only looks for files as displayed in the screen shot below (With or without "User")

A good example of this is in the case of the JT modes which required exactly the same changes to the code some time ago.

On start up Log4om won't recognise files that do not correspond to those it expects to see! So something called "reportlist_Aunt_Sally" will not be recognised and therefore won't be loaded at runtime.

Yes, you are correct Terry.

OK, if this ability could be added in a near future version, it would be great.
