Multiple callsigns and Statistics & Awards

Is it possible to configure LOG4OM to contain logs for three callsigns (one current callsign and two old ones) and at the same time have the STATISTICS & AWARDS feature keep track of all the QSOs of the 3 callsigns jointly? I'm trying to help a friend with this.

Yes that is not a problem just make sure that the QSO's for your old call signs have the owner call, station call and operator call set to the applicable call signs - Statistics will display the aggregate or all the station calls
What you won't be able to do is display award statistics for each call separately

Terry,
Thanks for your prompt reply and for letting us know this is possible.
My friend set up as new configuration / new profile for each of his three callsigns. Before proceeding further I'd like to ask here if that was the correct thing to do or if he should have done it differently. Basically what he did was to open SETTINGS > OPTIONS . NEW CONFIG and he did this three times, once for each callsign.

No, if he wants the awards statistics to display the results of the all of his old and new call signs collectively he needs just one config
Presumably he has multiple ADIF files to import, one for each of his calls and presumably each call had a start and end date?
If so each of the ADIF files should have his call recorded in the Owner, Station and operator call sign fields and if they have there will be no issues
If the ADIF files do not have that data correctly recorded then there should be a start and end date which would enable a Log4om sort to separate those QSO's and they can then be bulk edited with the correct call sign data.
Should you not be sure what to do then send all of his ADIF files to me, each identified with the relevant call sign, and I will import and update the data and return to you a single sqlite database for him to use.

Terry, he is in the process of re-writing his paper logs. I think he is done rewriting his current callsign's log and he is now only just starting to rewrite old callsign's logs. He could delete the two old callsign's logs and start to rewrite them from start to his new callsign's config. But is that at all possible. How would he go about entering, one-by-one, his all QSOs into LOG4OM? Would he just simply go to SETTINGS > OPTIONS > STATION INFO and change STATION/OPERATOR/OWNER callsigns to his old one each time he is ready to start rewriting his old log to LOG4OM, and then each time he is done he would just change those three STATION/OPERATOR/OWNER callsigns back to his new one? That could be done, that's not too complicated if that would work. Just one more thing, would he be able to upload and download to/from LOTW if all his old and new callsigns were in one config? He would likely need to change his name/password in SETTINGS > OPTIONS > EXTERNAL LOGS > LOTW each time he is ready to upload/download for a particular callsign, but would it be at all possible, would it not create other problems? I guess LOTW would know which QSOs belong to which callsign even though all QSOs are in one log (in one config).
Yes, both of his old callsigns have an END date, and he no longer uses them.

Yes you have the correct idea just change the station info when he adds old entries as you describe
Once he has entered the data, to do a LOTW upload change the external log settings and In the QSL manager sort on the station callsign field to identify those to be uploaded

Terry,
Thanks for taking the time to describe this to me. I think I'm starting to understand it all. So basically our "STATION CALLSIGN" is being entered into every single QSO in LOG4OM and when we upload to LoTW it will be the "STATION CALLSIGN" that will tell LoTW which of my friend's 3 callsigns was used when the QSO was made.
I'll keep you posted how it goes, but I think I understand it now and I don't anticipate problems.
