Country Column Blank after Import from DXLab Suite

I exported a 16,000+ contact logbook from DXLab Suite as a standard ADIF and imported into Log4OM. All columns populated nicely except for the Country column which is blank. If I double click on a contact line item for the detail window the country field is correct. When I save and exit the detail window the country column will now show the country for that line item. Is there a quick way to get my country column populated without double clicking each line item in the logbook?

It would also be nice when I exit the detail window if it would take me back to the same spot in the logbook and not to the top of the logbook each time. Is there a setting that I have not discovered yet?

Thanks,
Duane, K2SI

Duane,
You probably did not check the box 'Update countries in ADIF' in the ADIF import window when you imported the DXLabs ADIF file, however all is not lost!

1. Go to the QSO Manager/QSO Archive window

2.check the box 'Enable update' (Top right)

3. Select (Highlight) some QSO's that don't have a country name

4. Click the 'Field update' button at the top

5. In the resulting screen select 'Verify country from DXCC'

6. Click the 'Execute Checks' button to the right

If some of your DXLabs QSO's do not have a DXCC number you can repeat the process above but in step 6 select 'Verify country from call sign' to fix that also.

Terry,
I did see the check box for 'Update countries in ADIF' but did not check it as I felt my countries were already checked and correct in DXLab Suites before exporting.

I followed the steps in the prior post many times with 2 to 6 QSO's and it will not populate the Country column under the Recent QSO (F8) tab. In the Update QSO window I see the country and I see the DXCC number. When I save and exit it will populate the country for that one QSO.

Any other thoughts? I can send you the logbook if you like.

Terry,
Thanks for the SQLite file with the country column populated. Did you check the box for 'Update countries in ADIF' when doing the import to make it work? Would like to known for future imports.

No I updated your SQLite file

In future if you import a DXlabs or N1MM ADIF you need to check the update country box in the import window because those programs don't include the country in the ADIF file
