ADIF Log Import not Showing Country
Posted: 09 Nov 2015, 21:02
I have imported my ADIF log file from LOGic9. All the data is present and the DXCC entity number shows up correctly for each imported QSO but the name of the country does not show up in the country field. If I manually add a new QSO to the database, however, the country description displays as it should. I updated the current DXCC list before the import and I also did not request LOG4OM to update countries when the ADIf log was imported.
Is this normal? I would like to see both the country name as well as the entity number for the imported QSOs
Thanks for the help. Bill N4iQ

I just saw a similar post in the form responding to MM0ZBH's question.
i am using only one call sign in the imported data as far as I know. I imported over 25k QSOs and there could be an error in the operator field but I don't think so. I will check.
Your instructions were:
In that case (if one call sign for operator)
MAKE A BACKUP
MAKE A BACKUP
MAKE A BACKUP
QSO ARCHIVE
remove filter limits (count = 0) in the lower right part of the qso grid
select all QSO
open MASSIVE QSO UPDATE
check "verify operator/station callsign"
check SIMULATION
execute checks button
if everything is ok
MAKE A BACKUP
MAKE A BACKUP
MAKE A BACKUP
execute the last part without the simulation checkbox
****************
Are you saying backup the data three times for safety/security reasons, then perform an QSO ARCHIVE operation using the setting described (not sure how to "open MASSIVE QSO UPDATE")? I will see if I can do this tonight. I may need some further help.
