FLdigi Frequency tracking

I am finally starting to work through the complete setup and integration of Log4OM.

I successfully set up FLdigi to exchange freq and logs today.

But it seems that the frequency displayed in FLdigi is tracking the B VFO (rather than VFO A) on my FT-2000.

While tuning VFO A the freq. display in FLdigi switches to 0.000 momentarily then reverts back to the freq. in VFO B.

While tuning VFO B it tracks smoothly.

The VFO A and VFO B frequencies are correctly displayed in Log4OM and track correctly but only VFO B data is displayed tracked in FLdigi.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ken VA3KA

I'd suggest contacting the FLDigi Yahoo group. Dave, the developer, is on hand to give excellent first hand support.

Good luck

Did a little more digging (including contacting the FLDigi yahoo group) on this.

When I look at the Log4OM Communicator panel, in the Rig Status box:

CAT CONNECTED

But the frequency displayed is from VFO B on the FT-2000, not VFO A.

When tuning VFO B this freq. tracks accordingly.

Maybe this is why FLDigig is displaying info from VFO B (not A)?

Thanks,

Hi Ken,

Assuming you have the latest and correct XML config file, I would expect that it would need to be modified to correct this display behaviour to that which you would prefer.

Other than that I am out of ideas, sorry  . Good luck.

Update-

I have it working ok now.

I reinstalled Omnirig and all is ok now frequency sends to FLDigi as it should from VFO A.

Problem closed!
