One Way CAT problem

I seem to have a problem with establishing two way communication with my Kenwood TS-850 and Omnirig.
I'm using Windows 10. The frequency of the TS-850 is displayed correctly in both Log4OM and Fldigi. But if I try to change the frequency in Log4OM it doesn't communicate this to the radio. If I manually change the radio frequency, both Log4OM and Fldigi reflect the change. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm a newbie to Log4OM but I've used Hamradio Deluxe for a number of years. Thanks in advance.

How have you got the CAT connections arranged, like how have you set up Fldigi Rig Control?

BTW we do request that users use their call signs for their user name because it makes it easier for us to provide area specific advice

Fldigi reads the frequency just fine and I have it set up to xml-rpc protocol. What I meant was that if I use the up and down arrows on the frequency box of the QSO display, the radio does not respond. However, when I use the memory list function and select a memorized frequency the radio responds properly. I haven't figured out how to memorize the mode, however. Seems like the frequency box in the QSO window isn't meant to actually control the radio.
By the way, Terry. Sorry about my user name. I didn't realize that the call sign was preferred and I certainly understand the reason for the preference. My call is KR0ES. I would be more than happy to change it but I haven't figured out how to do that either. Probably have to delete the present member of Wingrider44 and set up a new account. Any guidance here would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Please be aware that the only way to change your radios frequency, band or mode in Log4OM is by a double click on a cluster spot
The mode, band and frequency adjustments in the F1 window are there for manual entry only - i.e without a CAT connection
