OmniRig and K3

Been learning/reading/implementing Log4OM to replace an older logging APP. I use a K3 and am having hiccups getting the OmniRig CAT control to effectively send proper codes or have the K3 receive the right codes to make changes when I click on a station noted in the spot list.

I made the changed in the Elecraft K3 Command Set under the "set mode" (IE: swapped MD7 and MD3 with pmCW_U and pmCW_L as when I clicked on a CW station it would set the mode to CW-REV.

Well, now when I click on various stations from the spot list it may or may not change to the proper frequency.

I've also noted that when it does change to the spot's selected frequency it will set mode to USB instead of CW (it is a CW spot).

I've made some adjustments with polling rates (as I read in another post on the forum).

I currently have polling set at: 100ms
I currently have timeout set at: 100ms

I'm sure I'm not setting something up, but am searching the forum as well as reviewing the manual.

Tnx in advance.

You have screwed up your ini file, delete it, download a new rig list from Omnirig and start again

You only need to change two values you don't need to change the commands

Terry,

I restored the original ini file (I am fussy about backups before making changes) and I've also downloaded a new zip file of all the ini files and have installed those ... so I have the latest from the developer.

I've have not changed the newly downloaded/installed Elecraft K3 ini file so it is as it should be from the developer.

What is interesting now is that double-clicking on a spot sometimes it will go direct and also select the correct mode. Sometimes it will go to the spot selected, but will choose CW-REV (it is not consistent).

Sometimes it will go to the selected frequency that is SSB, but it will choose USB and it should be LSB (It is not consistent).

When I double-click again on the same spot the signal from Log4OM to the K3 will correct to proper parameters.

I've also noted that when I go into the Options to view a setting and whether I make a change or not Log4OM will not let me click on a spot to change the K3. I have to close Log4OM and restart and then I can click on the spot.

I should have asked in my other reply ...

What are the two values that need to be changed?

I keep seeing similar comments, but no details about the changes, which items, which file, etc..

I now know it is the Elecraft K3 "ini" file, but still not certain that I'm clear on specifically which values need to be changed.
