Log4OM Communicator not connecting to Log4OM

I'm trying to get Win4K3 Suite, Log4OM and FLDigi to play nicely on my new computer. I think Log4OM and Win4K3 are OK, but there seems to be a problem with FLDigi and Log4OM Communicator. It appears to be network related and it may be relevant that Kaspersky Total Internet Security 2016 is installed.

The symptoms are that Communicator fails to connected to Log4OM over TCPIP. The log shows

The end of the error line shows the connection to 127.0.0.1:8081 was actively refused.

To test if it was the firewall, I disabled the firewall temporarily but it made no difference.

I suspect that you did not install some or all of the programs by selecting 'Run as administrator?

Thanks Terry
Actually, it was something more obvious. Despite having set it to auto start, the Communicator service in Log4OM was not running, so it wasn't listening to port 8081.

I'm not sure why that was the case, however that's a problem for another day. For now I'll just start it manually each time I start Log4OM.

Oh, and yes, Log4OM is running with Administrator privileges. The installer wasn't run with Admin privileges however.

1. Suggest you set it to auto start the communicator

2. Please reinstall using the run as administrator command

Hi Terry
It was set to autostart. reinstalling in admin mode solved the problem.
