May be stupid question, I don't see any explanation in the manual how to upgrade to new versions.

Just download, unzip the install file from the zip folder it and install over the existing installation

Don't forget to select run as administrator when you right click on the install file

Yes - - please this information needs to be in the user manual. I'm assuming that I need to shutdown the current running copy but maybe it auto shuts down. It is not good to assume that your users will do this. Implicit instructions would be good.

You need to close all programs, not just Log4OM, when any software installation is being done

It is not good to assume that your users will do this. Implicit instructions would be good.

As I have said I will attend to that immediately and the updated user guide will be available for download in a couple of hours

The user guide and quick start guide have both been updated and are now ready for download.

I will also add this information to the FAQ section of this form
