Port 8001 Error Message JT Alert - Log4OM

New Log4OM user here.

Setup everything recently with WSJT-X, JT-Alert & Log4OM.

I'm using a Kenwood TS-590SG radio, CAT control is working just fine with WSJT-X.

However I'm getting the "Unable to open TCP port 8001 error" when JT Alert attempts to log the QSO into Log4OM.

I've tried disabling antivirus & firewall & even added an exception to my hardware router, still no dice.

Any ideas?

Seems like you are not running Log4OM as an administrator

Pretty sure I tried that too, but i'll give it a go again later today, i'll take screen shots along the way this time.

Tried running every single application as administrator, still didn't work.

This is on my Windows 7 Pro machine.

I have a Windows 10 laptop i'll try installing it on tonight just to see if I can get it working on a different machine.

Log4OM works fine on Win XP, all flavours of Win 7 and all flavours of Win 10
