I lost my entire Log Pls HELP

OK I lost my entire log when I was messing around. How can I restore it? I thought there was a back up. When I look and find the file on my computer for log4om its empty, nothing in the cloud. Please tell me there is a way to fix this. Thanks.

Hi Mike,
Look in the settings, tab Settings 1, and you should see the default address where a backup is stored. There will be a .adi file which you can load into Log4OM to restore your log.
Hope this gets you back in business. Good idea to keep a off computer backup on the cloud, memory stick, etc.

Do a search for *.SQLite and you will probably find your logbook name and location eg W2MJP.SQLite
No go to File/Open database in Log4OM and navigate to the location you just found and select the W2MJP.SQLite file, all will be back to normal

Thanks for help guys. I have found the backup file and reloaded it and its says it accepts,downloads and shows adif load in progress at the top . But the log does not restore.

And I get a warning from windows / log4om DB up grade required..

I also downloaded the latest version 1.27. It seems I need to get the database updated in order for the log to be restored, How do I do this?

Hi Mike,
can you RECREATE the database from scratch? FILE -> NEW DATABASE
You can eventually backup the previous one with another name... and keep an ADIF in a safe place?

I tried but every time I go to import the adif file from the back up file, it tells me Database Upgrade required. How do I update the database?

I spent all day trying to fix this problem

, maybe someone can help me via Skype or Whats app please. I have read all of the past similar problems and applied what was said,but unfortunately no luck. Thank you.

Do you have Teamviewer on the Log4om computer?
