CAT lost for Omnirig after update to v1.28

Hi Terry,
I have just updated Log4OM to v 1.28 and have lost CAT connection to my IC-7700. I am using Windows 10 and Omnirig is still selected. The connection cable is fine and no CAT settings have been changed. Log4OM is working fine with the cluster.
The v 1.28 update installed Omnirig again automatically, presumably over the top of the previous Omnirig files? Is there an executable file for this and where should it reside? Should I re-install Omnirig (ver Feb 2014 )from the DX Atlas site and the attached ini file?

I truly don't want to mess things up when it has been all running so sweetly!

Hi Chris,

have you installed Log4OM with Administrator privileges ? If not make a fresh install of L4O as Administrator.
If yes try a reinstall of Omnirig and download the latest .ini files too.

Also ensure that Omnirig is running as an administrator

C:\Program Files (x86)\Afreet\Omnirig and right click on the Omnirig.exe file and select 'Properties'

Then in the 'Compatibility' tab click the button 'Change settings for all users'

Check the box 'Run this program as an administrator'

Click 'Apply' then keep clicking the 'OK' buttons to close the windows down

Restart Log4OM

Problem solved in less than 10 seconds thanks to utter clarity of response from Terry.
