Hello Terry,
Maybe out of distraction I did not see your post. :o
Excellent! :D :D :D
Will they still be implemented in version 1 or only in V2?

When referring to "Deficiencies in RSGB IOTA awards" is to follow the award as stipulated: consider as necessary a contact, not valuing band or mode? Because at IOTA there is no need to have band sampling since the need is only in one contact no matter what the band or mode. This subject I mentioned before, and reason is because it becomes easier to see what we really need without having to be band per band, a question grid analysis facility.

And now ... wait, anxiously to see some of these features come up.

Thanks to log4OM team for all the work.

Hi Manuel,
As v2 is still a long time in the future, see Lele's post elsewhere, I am trying to convince him to act on the more urgent requirements listed above and particularly LOTW support which is VERY POOR, and MixW integration so that us FSK guys can have the better support.

I freely admit to requesting things that I am particularly interested in but I don't care! :D

Wow !

Well    it seems we will have good news.
From Log4OM team we always have very good news, the wait sometimes seems "painful"... But the result is always excellent! :D :D :D

v2 is never going to see the light of day if all that effort is going to be expended on v1.

By "Upcoming releases" I include version 2.0 as an upcoming release!

Hi Terry,

You may indeed have included v2 in "an upcoming release". That, sadly, does not infer "imminent", "soon" or "in the near future" etc etc. Indeed, elsewhere you have said that v2 is some way off. I do not know what other people's perceptions are, but to me, "upcoming release" means 2018 to me. Some time off is end of 2019, beginning 2020 at the earliest.

I am assuming, correctly I imagine, that the more time is spent on v1, the less will be spent on v2, unless Lele has a spare key to the Tardis ;) . IIRC, it was said on this forum that 80% of his time will be spent on v1 and 20% on v2.

I am only chomping at the bit as I love Log4OM.

Regards

Guy
