Log4OM

I was using Log4OM previously on a laptop running Windows 7. I don't know what version of Log4OM that I had at the time, but it worked well for me. The laptop crashed and I bought a new laptop which has Windows 10 on it. I downloaded Log4OM on to it. But I can't seem to get it to work. The error was about not finding the database. So I uninstalled Log4OM.
I want to reinstall it, but I have a question on which version to install. The word Portable in the version is confusing and is why I am asking the question.

You can run the portable version on a memory stick and take it from one computer to another, it's portable!

I suggest that you use the normal installed version
