Hi Danielle, Terry,

This is not the first time I notice this thus I would just like to know if it is a bug or working as is.

When I contact someone as portable let's say as today 5B/LY4A it will show on the map (F6 QSO information) the location as Littuania rather than Cyprus, and on the right part it will also show the wront distance / antenna beaming.

Not sure if anybody reported this already...

Could you please let me know ?

I would class that as a missed feature

Seriously it should use the prefix to identify the location for the map connector and path data, at this time it is clearly using the OM's home locator.

Log4OM however does enter the correct country and DXCC based on the prefix

I will add this to Mantis for resolution as soon as Daniele has time

Tonight contacted YB0/PD9DX with antenna beaming to Europe lool

It is strange that nobody reported that
Everyday I am having this headache to find the correct beam heading for stations not located at their home QTH

Anyway I'll wait until this is fixed

Entering just YB0/ provides the correct heading because at this point we are using the prefix found in the country file which gives us a locator for the centre of that country.

It seems that as soon as the operators prefix is added that prefix takes precedence over the YB0/

It will get resolved

I did not notice but it also does not take the correct country which is a bit more annoying

Today contacted during the contest RA/KE5JA and when uploaded to clublog it noticed the error :

Callsign: RA/KE5JA Date: 2013-12-14 02:21:31 Band: 10 QSL: No
Your log claims UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Club Log has a specific exception for RA/KE5JA and will use ASIATIC RUSSIA.

Yes Greg this is on our Mantis list and hopefully will be fixed before next release
