Log4OM

HI All

Is there an issue with ranking currently. I have all the latest updates and my log currently now @ 1857 tells me.

New Zealand is 15
Oman 4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poland 38
Lithuania 58
Macedonia 62

I know MIke has been working on Club Log and I have checked there and the DXCC rankings do not look like what i have in LOG4OM

It should be fine because we obtain the ranking from Clublog, however it is possible that Michael has not updated the download file but has updated the web site file, I will check with Michael

I some how dont think Oman is Ranked 4.

The ranking file downloaded is incorrect. Indeed it is showing Oman DXCC 370 as Rank 4.

The log is intepreting the file correctly. Looks like the data in the file is skewed.

Apparently they were updating the file, I just checked and the latest download is fine

How do I download within the log a new ranking file. I have down loaded clublog but only a new dated country file appears ???

Hi Martin,

The Clublog ranking file is loaded when Log4OM is started it is not downloaded when you click the Clublog download in LOG4OM, that is the call sign exception file.

I would need to ask Daniele but I believe the ranking file is downloaded according to the frequency of download set in options.

When I checked my ranking file it was dated 30/10/13 so with a frequency of 3 days set in options I would expect it to renew on 2/11/13

However I deleted the ranking file and restarted Log4OM and a new file was downloaded with today's date so the download definitely works OK

I checked the rankings and they seem to be correct.

Please rename or delete the ranking file and restart Log4OM and let me know what happens

Have done the same. Deleted file and a new file is there with todays date.
