New Install Won't Open Database

I followed the instructions, set up my profile and created a new database. But for some reason when I try to navigate to it, it doesn't open. The lower right corner continues: "not connected."

Did you follow the instruction about how to run as an administrator
Have you tried creating another database in a different location

Ahh, I watched the quick start video. Don't think the run as administrator was mentioned. However I solved the problem by relocating a new database. I'm using a Windows 10 partition in Parallels on the Macintosh and the default Windows documents folder isn't designated by the C: drive. However by manually placing the database at the root level of C: the problem disappeared. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
And thank you for this amazing software; it is impressive!
